Patricia Ann Franklin Washington

Services for Patricia Ann Franklin Washington, of New Orleans, La., formerly of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, at Rose Hill M.B. Church with burial in the church cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Monday from 10 until 11 a.m. at the church.

Mrs. Washington, 60, died Oct. 3, 2007, at her residence. She was born on April 21, 1947, to Luther Franklin Sr. and Ora Lee Franklin.

She was a 1966 graduate of Eva H. Harris School, a homemaker and a member of Rose Hill M.B. Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Lionel Washington; and her brothers, Luther Franklin Jr., Charles Franklin and Tommie Franklin.

Survivors include her sisters, Ada Rutledge, of Brookhaven, Maxine Banks, of New Orleans, Margie Gurley, of Houston, Texas, and Mary Knox, of Brookhaven; and her brother, William “Larry” Franklin, of Brookhaven.

The family sends its thanks to Divine Care Hospice and Hospice Ministries, of Brookhaven.
