Ernestine Williams

Services for Ernestine Williams of Union Church are 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 8, at Zion Chapel AME Church with burial in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Visitation is Monday, June 7, from noon to 8 p.m. with a family hour from 7-8 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mrs. Williams, 58, died Saturday, June 1, 2002, at her residence. She was born in Lincoln County on May 5, 1944, to the late Wendell and Lizzie Henderson Williams.

She was retired. She was a member of Zion Chapel AME Church She was a 1963 graduate of Eva Harris School.

Preceding her in death were her parents and brothers, Charles Williams and Archie Williams.

Survivors are her brothers, Andrew Williams of Brookhaven, Burna Williams of Union Church and Charlie Williams of Brookhaven; sisters, Ora Williams of Bay Shore, N.Y., and Inez Houston of Chicago; god daughter, Felicia Levert of Chicago; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
